Our Story
Havablanca is a family-owned business inspired by our Cuban–Moroccan roots and a shared belief that food has a special way of bringing people together.
Across cultures, some of the most meaningful moments happen around a table—sharing sweets over a cafecito or atay, exchanging stories, and creating memories with family and friends. Havablanca was born from that tradition and from our desire to preserve and celebrate our blended heritage for the next generation.
The flavors of our Cuban and Moroccan backgrounds come together naturally in our signature treats, where familiar ingredients and traditions are thoughtfully reimagined into something uniquely Havablanca.

How We Do It
We bring our mission to life through hands-on cultural workshops, traditional sweets and culinary experiences, cultural storytelling, children’s educational programs, community partnerships, catering, and pop-ups.
At our core, we are not simply a dessert business that also does workshops and experiences. Rather, through our sweets, workshops, storytelling, educational enrichment programs, and community experiences, we are nurturing curiosity, connections, and community.

What sets us apart is the thought behind what we create. From reimagining a traditional favorite to developing an original Havablanca specialty, every detail is considered with intention while still leaving room to experiment, evolve, and surprise.
